The Assegai grows superbly in full sun and light shade. In full sun, it becomes bushy – making an attractive hedge or screen.
For best results, plant your tree in deep, fertile soil with plenty of compost. Water generously for the first two to three years. Apply compost at least on an annual basis, and general fertilizer in spring. Once established, the Assegai Tree should survive moderate drought or frost.
